Reggie Ballesteros

Reggie is a mechanical engineer as well as our resident photographer. The technical and analytical mindset developed by his mechanical engineering background has also found its way into his photographic and graphic design approach. His work has been published in various online skateboarding magazines such as SkateSlate and Wheelbase Magazine, and he is also a contributing photographer for The Guardian, UCSD’s student run newspaper. Leonardo Costello

Leo is a mechanical engineer who has gained valuable design and fabrication experience from being a member of the UCSD Formula SAE team along with working as a Tutor at the UCSD MAE Department Machine Shop. He has also gained industry experience working at Solar Turbines in Kearny Mesa where he interfaced with suppliers and numerous departments to develop and carry out solutions for implementing Metal Clad Hazardous Location (MC-HL) cable.

Sean Patno

Sean doubles as both a mechanical and software engineer. He started his programming career right after graduating high school writing defense software at Thales Raytheon Systems. He continued working there each summer while pursuing his mechanical engineering degree at UCSD during the school years.  He also devotes time to writing iPhone and iPad apps as one half of the programming duo Star Tip Software.



Kyle Stewart

Kyle is a mechanical engineer whose engineering experience started at an early age with Lego Mindstorms, and has in scale and sophistication ever since. School projects such as robot design competitions, the fabrication and deployment of a stabilizing aerial camera platform in partnership with National Geographic and CALIT2, and an internship at CareFusion have added to his engineering knowledge and skills from both a design and production management standpoint.
